The first step is to register as an entrepreneur. Then you’ll be able to submit a pitch using our simple online form

What information should I include in my pitch?

Can I upload my business plan? 

Yes, the Pro or Global Pro packages allow you to upload additional documents for investors to view. 

How can I protect the confidentiality of my idea? 

If you’re worried about confidentiality we'd advise you to write enough to get the investors interested in your project without revealing any sensitive information. Once you start discussions with an investor, you may want to ask them to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you release more information.

How many investors will my pitch be sent to? 

We currently have 169,021 investors in our database. Pro pitches will be sent to all matching investors on this network. Global Pro pitches will be sent to all matching investors worldwide. Our system will match your pitch with the right investors based on investment amount, region and sector(s).

How long does it take for my pitch to go live?

Pitches are usually reviewed within 48 hours. If you're in a real hurry, you can choose the 'Immediate Release' feature, and your pitch will go online straight away.

When does the day count start?

Don’t worry, the day count doesn’t start until the day your pitch goes live on the site.

Can pitches be edited after launch? 

Yes, pitches can be edited at any time. Novice pitches will be reviewed after each edit to make sure no contact details have been included. Pro and Global Pro edits do not need to be re-approved.

Can I enter more than one pitch? 

Yes, you can enter as many pitches as you want, but you do have to pay the Pro or Global Pro fee for every pitch you submit. If you want to enter more than 5 pitches, please contact us for special rates.

What is a nudge? 

Nudges are a great way to draw investors' attention to your pitch and attract more interest. If you send an investor a nudge, he receives an email with a link to your pitch. If the investor is interested in your pitch and accepts your nudge, you will then be able to contact each other directly.

Do I have to pay for every contact?

No, you get access to the contact details of ALL the investors who show an interest in your pitch.

How can I pay?

You can pay by via credit or debit card, PayPal or bank transfer.

Can I choose the Pro pack first and then upgrade to the Global Pro pack later?

Yes, you can upgrade from the Pro pack to the Global Pro pack at any time and only have to pay the price difference.

What happens at the end of the 90-day listing?

At the end of your 90-day listing you will be given the chance to pay to renew your pitch. Your pitch will be reactivated for another 90 days and will be resent to the investors.

Do I need to do my own due diligence?

We carry out a number of checks on each investor when they register, but you should also do your own due diligence on any investor you deal with. Please help out the community by reporting and endorsing investors.

Ticket and funding round sizes vary depending on the needs and desires of the entrepreneur - we have clients looking to raise funds ranging from a few thousand pounds to several million.

What are the costs? 

Our service is free to investors.

How is my privacy protected? 

We do not share your name or contact information with anyone except entrepreneurs you choose to connect with. Connections with entrepreneurs are made completely on your terms so your details are private until you decide to connect with a particular entrepreneur.

Who can use this platform? 

This platform is designed to be used by sophisticated investors or investment professionals.

How do I change my email settings? 

Login to your account and click on ‘My Profile’, you can go to email settings to turn off or change the frequency. You can also change the type of email you receive through clicking on investment criteria.

Do I need to do my own Due Diligence? 

Yes, you need to carry out your own due diligence on all companies that you are thinking of investing in.

Where do your pitches come from?/ Where do you have networks?

Our pitches are submitted by individual entrepreneurs, companies and incubators from our networks all over the world. You can use search filters and profile settings to prioritise which pitches appear in your list.

How can I prioritise which types of pitches appear to me in the lists?

Go to your profile settings and make sure you have set your investment criteria to match your investment priorities.

How can I filter pitches using your search page?

You can use our quick filters or the advanced filters in the pitch search bar to help filter pitches.

How do I get in touch with entrepreneurs?

When you see a pitch that you find interesting, click ‘I’m interested’. This will send a message to the entrepreneur notifying them of your interest. You are now connected with them and they will be able to contact you to arrange further discussions and meetings

Why hasn’t an entrepreneur responded to me? How can I get more people to respond to me?

Entrepreneurs can only respond to interested investors if they have a paid account. If they don’t they will have to upgrade to see and reply to your messages. Alternatively, they may not be responding because your profile is lacking in detail compared to other investors interested in their pitch. Entrepreneurs are likely to prioritise investors with the most professional looking profiles.

How can I make sure an entrepreneur responds?

Entrepreneurs are likely to prioritise investors with the most professional looking profiles, so make sure you’ve filled in all the relevant sections. Imagine yourself as the entrepreneur and what would impress you in their position. Another way is to send the entrepreneur a personal message when you express interest in their pitch.

Do I have to invest through the site?

This is not a crowdfunding site. The purpose of this site is to facilitate contact between great startups and investors looking to connect with them. Once the initial contact has been established, the subsequent investment transaction takes place directly between you and the entrepreneur (not via our website).

What happens if a company I want to invest in does not meet its funding target?

The total funding required is an estimate entered by the entrepreneur. Should you choose to invest, your money will have an immediate influence as soon as you transfer it to your chosen company. The target does not have to be reached, like on crowdfunding sites, before your money is transferred. This would come down to a private discussion between you and the entrepreneur.

Do I have to do my own due diligence on companies I like?

We strongly advise you to do your own due diligence on any company you are considering investing in.

What are your verification checks for?

In order to ensure all our listings are genuine and to avoid duplicate and fake listings, we request all homeowners to provide ownership information. We take personal data protection very seriously at Ritzcorp and will never divulge your private information to any third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

Are there any charges for listing my property on Ritzcorp?

Our basic listing service will always be free. Our premium listing service will be chargeable.

Does Ritzcorp take any commission?

No. Ritzcorp is a property marketplace platform and does not charge any commission fees

Can I list more than one property?

Yes of course, you can list as many properties as you like as long as there are no duplicates.

Does Ritzcorp provide sample agreements for Property Owners?

Yes, there are sample agreements available for Property Owners to use in their property transactions. These agreements have been vetted and verified by our lawyers to adhere to industry standards.

How can I edit the details of my listing?

To make any changes to your listing, go to My Listed Properties and look for the unit you want to edit. Then tap on the three dots at the top right corner and select “Edit”.

Can I list a residential property on Ritzcorp?

No, we currently only allow listing of non-residential properties.

Can I list an overseas property on Ritzcorp?

Yes we allow worldwide listings.

Are there any charges for using Ritzcorp?

No, there are no charges for using Ritzcorp.

I’ve seen a unit that I like. How do I get in touch with the owner?

Simply sign up for a free account and send the owner a message from our website.

How do I transfer payment (security deposit, monthly rental, option money, etc) over to the Property Owner?

You can make payment arrangements directly with the homeowner.
